Columbia Radiology Opens New Imaging Center in Westchester County

Eastchester/Scarsdale, NY – The Department of Radiology’s newest location opened its doors today, expanding the department’s diagnostic expertise to patients and physicians who live and work in lower Westchester County.

Located at 703 White Plains Road on the border of Eastchester and Scarsdale, ColumbiaDoctors/NewYork-Presbyterian Imaging offers a full array of diagnostic CT, MRI, and X-ray exams, as well as mammograms and ultrasounds. The facility features the most advanced imaging equipment in a comfortable setting, with a staff of highly trained and compassionate technologists and nurses.

“It is always our goal to provide world-class imaging services to our patients at the time and location of their choice," said Ajay Gupta, MD, MS, professor of radiology and chair of the Department of Radiology at Columbia University Irving Medical Center (CUIMC). "We are excited to provide easier access and high-quality diagnostic imaging care to the Westchester community.”

The facility is conveniently located a few doors down from ColumbiaDoctors Orthopedics and within a mile of several other ColumbiaDoctors offices, including cardiology, obstetrics and gynecology, and internal medicine. Walk-in appointments are available for X-ray exams.

All imaging exams are evaluated within 24 hours by Columbia Radiology faculty, a renowned team of subspecialized radiologists who offer the highest level of diagnostic care and collaborate closely with referring physicians.

“Imaging is often the first step in a patient’s journey, and we understand how stressful the exams can be,” said Marc Brown, MD, associate professor of radiology and vice chair of outpatient imaging for the department. “Our goal is to make the process as easy and comfortable as possible.”

The Department of Radiology at CUIMC provides diagnostic and therapeutic imaging services at 14 outpatient locations throughout Westchester County and Manhattan, in partnership with NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital.
