We use the newest technology specially designed or adapted for children. Our dedicated pediatric radiologists are available 24/7 for emergencies and consultations. We perform almost 60,000 imaging studies each year, giving us extraordinary experience in visualizing pediatric anatomy and making accurate diagnoses. Low Dose Imaging

Because children are more sensitive to the effects of radiation used in imaging, we use the lowest dose procedures and equipment while providing outstanding diagnostic service. We are active participants in the Alliance for Radiation Safety in Pediatric Imaging’s Image Gently initiative, a campaign dedicated to providing safe, high quality pediatric imaging nationwide. We are committed to imaging when there is a clear medical benefit; using the lowest amount of radiation to get an adequate image; imaging only the indicated area; avoiding multiple scans; and using alternative diagnostic studies (such as ultrasound or MRI) when possible.
