Nahill H. Matari, MD
Overview
Dr. Nahill Matari is an assistant professor of radiology at Columbia University Irving Medical Center. He is board-certified in diagnostic radiology and specializes in neuroradiology and breast imaging after completing fellowships at Columbia University Irving Medical Center and the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, respectively. He is experienced in all aspects of neuroradiology, with a specific clinical focus in head and neck imaging, and is well versed in all aspects of breast imaging and ultrasound, stereotactic, and MRI guided breast biopsies.
Dr. Matari received his medical degree from New York Medical College. He completed his internship at Yale-New Haven Health Greenwich Hospital and a diagnostic radiology residency at Rutgers-New Jersey Medical School, where he served as chief resident. His primary academic interests include temporal bone and neuro-oncologic imaging and he has a strong background in medical education having successfully developed curriculums at the medical student and resident level.
