Dr. Wong is subspecialty trained in the interpretation of adult and pediatric imaging of sports, orthopedic injuries, arthritis, spinal disorders, and tumors. He is an expert in ultrasound guided musculoskeletal intervention, specializing in joint, tendon, muscle, and trigger point injections throughout the body.
Dr. Wong obtained his undergraduate degree at the University of Virginia with a major in biochemistry. He attended medical school at Tufts University in Boston, MA and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society. He then completed his internship at Carney Hospital in Dorchester, MA. Dr. Wong continued his training in the diagnostic radiology residency at Columbia University/NewYork-Presbyterian, where he served as the chief resident. He went to NYU Hospital/Hospital for Joint Diseases for a musculoskeletal fellowship. Upon completion of his training, he joined the Department of Radiology at Columbia University Irving Medical Center and is an associate professor of radiology.
Dr. Wong is a member of the Society of Skeletal Radiology, American Roentgen Ray Society, and the Radiological Society of North America.
